About Us

ATG Media is a global pioneer of auction portals and live and timed online auctions. The company's websites allow users to search auction catalogues and place bids over the internet in realtime, with live audio and video feeds communicating the auction room's atmosphere. The sites also offer timed bidding. ATG Media has hosted over 22,000 auction catalogues and over 12,000 live and timed auctions.

In 2000 ATG Media launched the-saleroom.com, Europe's leading portal for live art and antiques auctions. In 2012 the site hosted 5,000 auction catalogues, 2,400 live auctions and sold over £53m online.

ATG Media also has a strong presence in the commercial and plant and machinery auction market through i-bidder.com. In 2012, the site hosted 1,400 live and timed auctions and sold £28m online.

In April 2013, ATG Media acquired BidSpotter Inc, the US-based world leader in industrial online auctions. BidSpotter Inc is based in Seattle, Washington, and runs the industry- leading sites BidSpotter.com and BidSpotter.co.uk. The acquisition gives ATG Media bases in the USA and UK, allowing the company to provide a truly global audience of bidders coupled with global customer service.

ATG Media's best-in-class proprietary technology powers partner sites Figaro Enchères (hosted on France's premier news website) and lot-tissimo.com (Germany's foremost fine art and antiques auction portal).
